If I Say Anything Stupidly Obvious...

I am currently in a fascinatingly twitchy mode that means every time I leave the house I'll be wondering whether the --
-- yeah. I just stopped midsentence and went downstairs to check and make sure that my brother didn't leave the hose feeding water to the swimming pool on, and that, therefore, the swimming pool was not overflowing into the back yard.
And on the way back upstairs I checked to make sure the refrigerator door was closed and the oven was off.
So if I say anything stupidly obvious, or anything that sounds like I think you might forget or have forgotten something really dumb? There is nothing meant by it - I'm just running around in constant 'augh' mode right now. Laughing at me is more than justified, mind you. ;)
